Emily, dental assistant

Emily joined the staff at Northway Family Dentistry in 2009. She is a recent graduate of Lake Michigan College/Ottawa County Tech Center, and previously spent two years as a dental assistant at another dental office.

Emily says she is attracted to the friendly, team-oriented atmosphere at Northway Family Dentistry. As a dental assistant, she also appreciates the chance to meet new people all day long. She typically works closely with the dentists during treatment procedures, and to prepare and sterilize equipment. To keep patients calm and comfortable, Emily keeps a steady conversation going and uses her great sense of humor when anxiety rises.

In her spare time, Emily loves going out to movies, concerts and other events with friends. She also enjoys reading while snuggling with her cat, Gracie.

Emily is engaged to be married in September 2012!
