About Dr. Tom Northway
Health care runs in the Northway family. As the son of a surgeon and brother of two orthodontists, Dr. Northway understands the role that good dental health plays in his patients’ overall well-being. While he is talented at cosmetic care, his passion is promoting a foundation of good dental health, preserving strong, beautiful teeth for a lifetime.
Dr. Northway’s excellent care is rewarded with loyal patients, sometimes for generations. For more than 30 years, Dr. Northway has enjoyed getting to know his patients and families. “The kids I used to treat are now bringing their kids to me,” says Dr. Northway. “It’s fun to build that trust with patients.”
Dr. Northway continuously evolves with emerging dental techniques in order to provide his patients the best options. He works with dentists at the top of the field, evaluating new improvements for solid success rates, affordability and comfort. Technology plays an important role in Dr. Northway’s practice, and his patients benefit from advanced treatments not available elsewhere in the region.
Dr. Northway married his wife, Diane, in 1981. Diane (St. Claire) is a full-time attorney for the juvenile court system, representing abused and neglected kids. Dr. Northway also is the proud father of his daughter, whose beautiful smile throughout the years is featured on the home page of this site. If you like dogs, ask Dr. Northway about his Leonberger, a gentle giant named Tanner. Tanner is trained as a therapy dog to visit hospitals and provide a welcome distraction for patients and families.
